Totality is coming…

On August 21, the skies over Columbia will go dark. The temperature will drop. Night will fall during mid-day.  And Brickhouse Gym will be closing at 11:00 am.

In observance of a once in a lifetime event, the Great Eclipse of 2017, Brickhouse Gym will be closing at 11:00 am on August 21. So make sure to get in early for your workout, then prepare for the spectacle of a lifetime and enjoy this rare event for South Carolina! We’ll be back open for normal hours on August 22.

New Equipment! Who’s First?

Brickhouse Gym is proud to announce two new additions to the family! They were delivered successfully in our turf room, and gym and additions are doing well.

The first piece is a vertical leg press, a whole new feel compared to our other leg press offerings in the main room.

The second piece is a belt squat machine, designed to allow you to get deeper into your squats than any other equipment here.  The versatility of the piece also allows for more non-traditional movements, such as static weighted lunges.

Come in today and take your leg workouts beyond the next level and enjoy the Brickhouse Experience!

Brickhouse Memorial Day

Thanks to all of our members (and future members!) who helped make the Memorial Day event a true success!!

There were Kettlebells flying, spinners spinning, weights bangin’ and clangin’! An amazing experience for everyone, and we can’t wait to bring you more days like this!

Remember, our Classes are available free to all members, and for only an $8 walk-in fee for non- members  (be sure to check the schedule on the sidebar).

Memorial Day at The Brickhouse

Brickhouse Gym remembers and  honors those that have fallen in service to our country by opening our doors to everyone in Columbia.  This Memorial Day, we invite everyone to Brickhouse – Day Pass fees are waved.  For our members, bring your friends out to see how truly  amazing a Brickhouse workout can be.  If you’ve never been here before, come out and find your inner strength and courage with the best, most challenging workouts in Columbia.

In addition to the best gym in South Carolina being at your fingertips, we’re having a special edition of our Kettlebell class “Freedom Bells” at 6:00 am, and Cycle-O-Rama with Coach Taylor, a spin experience, at 9:00 am.  Come celebrate with us as we honor those that have given all.

Brickhouse will be operating under limited hours on Memorial Day, May 29, 2017.  Hours will be 5am until 12pm, with a special Memorial Day kettlebell event at 6:00 am and spin event led by Coach Bell at 9am.  Check the details at our event page on Facebook!

The Newly Expanded Turf Room

Come enjoy our newly expanded Turf Room! For strength and agility training, this is the place.  We’ve doubled the size of our turf room, adding some serious racks, a new Olympic platform, a peg board, and a few other goodies.  You’ve got to try it out today!

Coach Bell Wants You!

Coach Bell Wants You! to come to cycling every Monday at 6am. It’s intense, it’s challenging, it’s rewarding – basically it’s all around Amazing! Guaranteed to get your week off to a charged start, this cardio class is perfect for all members, regardless of fitness level.
